I have two new videos creating the Threes, Sixes and Nines from animated patterns on Tic-Tac-Toe squares. The first video is 4 minutes with directions. It is described in the previous post.
I uploaded a second video version today that just has background music (Schubert - Fantasy in C major) with no directions. I am curious about your response to it. There are a few written guides but no spoken words. It is very right-brained with music and visual patterns. Continue Reading »

I made this video with fun animation and amazing techniques showing how kids can create the Threes, Sixes, and Nines on Tic-Toe-Toe squares. There are now over 43,000 views of MisterNumber videos and growing by 1,000 every 4.5 days. There is a lot of useful teaching there, but I have been holding back. “Don’t give it away!” is the voice. But I am committing to put it all on Youtube and TeacherTube. Watch for many new videos to be uploaded. I realize that I have shown teachers for 90 minutes many of the techniques at Math Conventions and they still buy the book and DVD for the worksheets and are excited. Continue Reading »
